Our short film Cream of Crab Soup, which had its first screening with the 2026 Easterseals Disability Film Challenge, was recently accepted as an Official Selection in the International Short Film Festival in Detmold, Germany. It will be shown sometime during the week of the festival’s run, August 24-29, 2026. To read more about the film, see my 4/8/2026 blog post.

Back in April, this magazine selected two photos of mine for publication but decided to release them over two issues. This issue contains the release of the second photo titled "Exceptional." Thimble Lit Mag seeks the power of joy in the face of darkness. They “believe we have a responsibility to joy.
