This beautiful, well-made, 8-1/2x11” color journal published my photos: Hot Air and Goya’s Dream of Universal Language on pages 64-65 in Volume 35, Spring 2026. The entire magazine was created by The Programs in Writing graduate students at University of California, Irvine.
faultline serves as a metaphor for the literary arts, representing the dynamic tension, shifting boundaries, and the raw, sometimes unpredictable creative energy that gets produced when different voices, genres, and cultures intersect.

Extraordinary, Conley, ever exploring! I'm very familiar with your oeuvre of work but these photos show yet another aspect of your vision. Beautiful. Well done.
