Found Deep in the Archives: “The Psychic Cat Vendor”

This was a short essay that was published a few years ago about my experience visiting the La Brea Tar Pits back in the mid-1980s when I lived in Los Angeles. It was originally published in the 2022 issue of the now-defunct Isotrope Literary Journal. (The journal has since changed their name to Bare Hills Review.) This is the only archival record of my published short essay and photo, which can be found on pages 59-60 online in the original journal put out by Finger Lakes Community College in Canandaigua, NY.
