“The Water Lets You In”

This was the title of the haunting theme song to “Bloodline,” one of my favorite streaming series. The watergraph below, The Incoming Tide, often makes me think of this song.
The publication of this photo is my second go-round with Months to Years, a quarterly digital journal that explores grief, loss, mortality, and the human condition. Characteristically of your work, Mr. Conley, be it, photographs, writings, films, acting, there's a surface structure supported by things unseen below, felt rather than intellectualized. Those require a second look.
