Carte Blanche, a literary magazine put out by the Quebec Writer's Federation, recently did a cool job publishing a short essay of mine along with eight photographs of mushrooms in various environments. These are, well, wild! The "mushroomrise" looks like the capital of a Greek or Roman column. Keen-eye to locate these specimens and delicately, affectionately photograph. Color when necessary; b/w otherwise, as with "Pine Needle Umbrella." I suspect, the poet in you named them.
